No kid is doing anything until we name a **** offensive staff member! Manny hasn't earned the rep to just take a leap of faith on him. If we are going to lure any QB transfer or commit..he needs to starting naming the offensive staff before we end up with none of these QBs.

As far as Tate leaving, these kids have pride but they aren't idiots either. He picked up on the vibe and probably realized he was being fed a bunch of BS so why waste a year sitting behind Fields? I think kids can handle competition but being lied to is totally different. For him to up and put his name in the transfer portal shows he felt he was being lied to about an "open completion". JMO.

If Day promised Fields the job, then my point is moot. I’d welcome Martell with open arms to compete against N’kosi/Weldon/Williams, but I don’t understand the double standard we have at times.

It isn't a double standard really some SoFlo kids are ****y to be ****y Tate had to hear that Fields is the godsend basically when hes proven nothing so yes he talked **** because he thinks he's better but Day was all over Fields after recruiting Tate so now he thinks he's been lied to and rightfully so
