Cautiously optimistic, but on one condition.
Unless Enos tailors his offense for this guy and runs a Meyer-style power spread, he’ll be useless.
I hope he doesn’t have him jammed under center dropping back in the I-form all game. Tate should be a running weapon first that occasionally makes easy throws due to defenses having to respect a dominant backfield where anyone is a threat to keep it. Forcing him to be a drop-back passer who only runs to escape pressure would be pure homosexuality.
Tate is a dynamic weapon in the proper modern offense.
Tate will be booed if forced into Enos’ Arkansas offense.
I’m hoping for the best because it puts us in the driver’s seat of the Coastal. Tate is a dynamic weapon; just have to shoot it correctly. (ALL HOMO)
