The "Pavia rule"
refers to the ongoing legal challenge by Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia against the NCAA over its rule that counts junior college (JUCO) seasons toward an athlete's four-year NCAA eligibility clock. In December 2024, a federal court granted Pavia a preliminary injunction allowing him to play for an additional season, and the NCAA later implemented a blanket waiver to grant a similar extra year of eligibility to all similarly affected JUCO athletes for the 2025-2026 academic year. Pavia's lawsuit argues this JUCO rule unfairly limits athletes' ability to earn from their name, image, and likeness (NIL) and is preparing to proceed as a class-action suit.

Bell coming back would be huge for the OL as it will be a lot of newer and likely younger pieces. The whole right side will be new. The center will be new and likely a transfer guy. Need some kind of experience and familiarity on the OL.

Would be ideal if he came back as now you have left side solidified with him + Samson. Portal likely again at C then McCoy, Kinsler, and Buchanon compete for the final guard spot while Cantwell claims RT.

You can count on one hand the times Beck faced blindside pressure, and you wouldn’t need all five fingers.

Really good season for Bell. He is a priority for retention.
There was a blindside hit/sack yesterday but in all honesty was great blitz call by Pittsburgh and Bell picked up his man.

I hope Bell can be convinced to return. His $NIL package should be increased to make it viable.
