Both are good, Walton has always been consistent, Scarlett however improved a lot and ran harder than Scarlett has in previous years last year...

Thats like saying the chick is a dime piece but the ***** is dry.... Im in the club that feels Speed andor acceleration is essential to a great running back, and walton has neither..He has good vision not great...decent speed and decent power.. He can be a good solid running back here I hope he pans out...

Freguson had a good 1995, ran for over 1,000, first RB since Ottis Anderson. He then busted his hip against WVU and the hillbilly fans almost tipped over the ambulance taking him to the hospital.

U r right it does read like his description. The only difference IMO is Walton looks to be better in space laterally than mike James

He's only stiff and overrated because he's not here. If he was here he'd be fluid and dominant and guys would be comparing him to Frank Gore.

I like both Walton and Scarlett , I wouldn't call Js overrated . But I would call him a ******
 
Walton was ranked as the top runningback in the country before he reclassified and qhen he did he was still ranked hire than scarlett and dexter williams

I don't know if it's a Dade County bias or they're just bitter cause Scarlett is not here. They did the same thing when Sony committed to Georgia and Collins committed to Arkansas.

I watched both of the tapes and Walton isn't in the same league as Scarlett IMO. Walton doesn't look like anything more than a good high school RB, while Scarlett looks like a 215lb kid who could succeed in the SEC yesterday.

When projecting players for the next level you're looking for kids that make their competition look silly on the high school level. (not just make some decent runs) Scarlett makes people look stupid. He's clearly a superior athlete than everybody on the field. We're comparing a kid who's 210+ with 4.3 speed to a kid who's 185+ with 4.6 speed.
 
if anything id say scarlett was underrated by the recruiting sites looking at his highlights i doubt theres 15 or what ever better rb prospects

walton is a stud too tho what he did in that state title game says it all

Imma wait and see what they do at the college level before i pass judgement on any recruit, IMO scarlett is a way better prospect coming out, but like i said im waiting until i see them in college

As many times as I've heard this, it still boggles my mind. 20 years between 1K yard rushers is UNreal on any level.
Crazy, but I didn't hear about a HS RB running for 1K till I moved to PC (Lakeland)...that was the year Travis Henry ran for like 3K, 96' I think it was.

Scarlet is a stud, and has much more potential than Walton. The posters in here saying other wise were probably the same ones claiming Yearby was better than Cook.
