Ferguson received the "Rusty Medearis" award for the UM player you have to ask yourself "what could have been" if not for an injury/personal reason, etc.. He was a beast in HS and could have been one here.

All that said, Im with the poster that said, who cares what his # is? Can he run for 1000 and catch the ball out of the backfield and block? If the answer is yes for all of those, he wear number 00 for all I care.

And its not too far fetched to say he will be better then Scarlett. He ran the rock in Dade county against some of the best defenses. Just because he might not be as fast as JS, he is just as good of a player. We will see in a few years who is still standing.

I always think about what would have been if Lamar Miller had stayed one more year with a freshman Duke Johnson backing him up.

Thought the same about Lamar and Duke. Lamar played it smart though. Can't fault him for that.
