i think him and this other kid mark fields were the fastest at the opening last yr heres a video of them racing it says scarlett runs a 4.38 and the other guy a 4.34 fields weighed in at 180 tho while scarlett was 206

You might remember he fumbled his first kickoff. He also got knocked out of the game. He certainly appeared faster back then.

My opinion of him was he'd be lucky to stay healthy at this level. He did and didn't, added quality weight, and then had his best season ever. Turned out pretty well for us I'd say, far better than his all-star game suggested he'd have.

As many times as I've heard this, it still boggles my mind. 20 years between 1K yard rushers is UNreal on any level.
Crazy, but I didn't hear about a HS RB running for 1K till I moved to PC (Lakeland)...that was the year Travis Henry ran for like 3K, 96' I think it was.

We held Travis Henry to lowest rushing total of the season in the 2nd round of the '96 high school playoffs. Something like 260 yards, and that's because he didn't play in the 2nd half because they were up 33-7 at the half. He carried that Frostproof on his back.
 
Scarlett is a stud no denying that....1st rd talent if he puts in the work.....he is a Gayturd so funk that fool....

Walton might not have the elite speed of Scarlett but he has everything else & he has that it factor kid just seems like a leader......

So only time will tell who will be the better back..... A few of you acting like Walton is jag...WOW!!!!...

I saw him play in state title game and wasn't impressed as he ran to upright which worked in HS but won't in college. After the game I wondered what all the hype was about.
 
a talented RB sure helps the running game no question.. but any average RB in D1 can put up good numbers with a really good OL. This is why RB's don't get drafted first round in the NFL as much as OL

Scarlet maybe be a better RB then Walton but with the disaster of the OL the gators have and the SEC teams they will play... his talents will not be on full display.

not saying our OL is much better but it is better and our receivers actually block pretty well as well. .. Maybe in a few years when he is a Junior they have a better oline

Scarlett's the biggest miss since all the other sfla misses......we would have a title team wit dannyboy coaching if they all came.
