Thanks...I did not know that.... I like Walton, Yearby is nice, but he looked really good coming out of HS... what happened? I remember everyone was sooooooo big on Yearby.

Mark Walton is a 1st round talent at running back, and there is starting to be a resurgence in RBs being drafted in the 1st round now, I think he can be part of that trend if he keeps it up.

I wasnt he was too slow.....in hs u can get away with that at this level u cant. FSU didnt challenge us when we "stole" him from them. They played chess they wanted us to take him because veryone knew his backup was better anyone with a set of eyes saw it.

Whilst I don't think Yearby has the homerun speed someone like Cook does, he's still a very dangerous runner. He makes the first man miss so often - if he was allowed to get to the second level without being touched more consistently (like Cook) he'd hurt a lot of teams.

Yeah I agree I like Joseph Yearby's game a lot. Breakaway speed isn't the end all be all in determining if somebody is good or not to me. His cuts and quickness are cream of the cop imo. Yes he can get caught from behind but he can take it the distance as well if not gash you for 10-20 yards at any given time. I like what he adds to our backfield.

Walton is great - he went go in the 2nd round with this O-line ---- better be brining in some new talent

Cook speed and burst makes him more dangerous......when the teams speed up at we play faster teams he will be just a reg rb nothing special. Can get first down but u dont have to focus on yearby because dl can catch him like a dl did from fau from behind

Good thing Richt didn't listen to 75% of the "fans" on this board and kick Walton off the team after his arrest

Yearby's problem is his knee pads are as big as my head.

Also, his pants are always saggin, slowing him down.

Its like he got kids holding on to his leg like hes dragging them....my boy who doesnt watcj college was like whos that hes slow for a miami rb im like i know lol.

FSU didn't challenge us because Yearby was following Coley where ever he went.

People also forget that the kid was supposed to be a senior in high school last year.

Homer is another kid that's young, pretty sure he's only 17 or just turned 18, and kid has been an animal on ST's.

Walton just went back to his proper grade.

I disagree I think Yearby is more consistent. Walton has a hard time holding onto the ball I think he has already fumbled like 2-3 (some ruled down but still a problem) times he doesn't protect it as well as Yearby. Also seems to go down pretty easy sometimes. I see the potential, it's there. Just needs to work on a few things.

nah, Walton is better. Yearby is a good change of pace back; he doesn't have the athleticism of Walton.
Not many teams have a 2nd back like yearby though. It's a luxury to be honest. Yearby would start for a bunch of teams in the country

I agree just saying I feel like Yearby gets through the traffic better when the hole is there mark it great but Yearby makes more plays when there is nothing there

In comparison all 3 backs are uniquely different. All have a very bright future and can "spell" each other when used in the right situations.
they will all be playing on Sunday's. It's a great problem to have!

WHO THE **** CARES IF HE'S A FIRST SECOND THIRD FOURTH OR FIFTH DAY GUY.

what counts right now is what he is doing right now right here. i want him to have great success here, and if later that parlays into a great NFL career, that's a bouns.

Ram Dass says BE HERE NOW

Very Frank Gore

whoa brother, frank gore's vision and feel was incredible . . . believe it or not, yearby is closer to frank than walton, he just lacks top end speed ala frank

Negative Ghostrider.

Walton is far superior to anything we have on the rooster

VERY Frank Gore like

Yearby couldn't be further from Gore from what I've seen. Gore runs like a beast - whereas light contact takes down Yearby. Feel like he crumples up like Marvin Harrison catching a pass over the middle.
