Mark Richt sounding like hes hoping for a Text or Call

Dude would run it up on 9 teams per year here, he'd fight tooth and nail with FSU, and once or twice a year we would find ourselves in a scrap with a ****** team like UNC or NC State. So, he would be a MAJOR improvement over the past 10 years and at minimum would leave the program in a great place when her retires to be a bible camp counselor or whatever in 5 years.

Crocodile tears. Dude has done nothing to indicate he was even interested in the job. When past openings came up, he always made it clear he had no interest in leaving.

I like Richt. He gets shlt on a lot, but

14 full seasons at UGA
9 times he won 10+ games
Finished in the top 25 11 times
The top 10 eight times
9 bowl wins
6 Division titles
2 Conference titles

His average season at UGA is 10-3 in the deepest conference in the country. I know people knock him for a perceived tendency to under-perform relative to his talent, but if we're gonna go around hunting down anyone who's ever been a Hurricane, he is 100x the candidate Dud, Wario, and Schiano are.

Agree. He coaches in the best conference and pretty much gets you to 10-3 every year . Only knock is he loses 1-2 games that make you scratch your head but he's a good coach.

As he shouldnt have. Guy has a top 20 salary and all the support he can get from boosters, fans, high school coaches.. Who would leave UGA to come to UM? unless hes worried about his time being up. UGA has the resources to make a big time hire if they replace him. Im sure he'd love to come to UM now bc things are way different now then in 2007 when he thought he could still take them over the top.

His side in the sec is terrible. He under achieves.

I think he is a corch, that surrounds himself with corches. His team has had elite nfl talent in offense yearly and has never impressed me.

He would need to regroup down here though, we would see a spike in recruiting. He wouldn't be my first choice but would take him over the new wave guys y'all d2ckridibg. (Houston)

SEC East is down right now but over his tenure he has had to deal with Meyer, Tebow and the gates, Tennessee has had some good years as well and not to mention he has had to play Bama, LSU and Auburn on rotation. 4 of those 5 he has played regularly have won titles. Compared to our "corches" who haven't won 10 games playing against the weakest competition in the America.

Tenn hasn't been sh-t for years brah and still ain't sh-t.Havent been nothing since fat Phil left. Urb owned him. Stop taking up for coaches when you don't take up for ours. Again his division in the sec is weak and has been for some time now...id take Missouri coach pinker over him and pinkel came into his division kicking ***.

He will never win a National Championship at UG. He would win one here. It will be an easier path through the ACC

3.3 million is that salary correct?

I'd take Richt. Not my first choice, but I'd take him. He's a very good coach, and would likely crush the Coastal.

Richt would be the safest hire of all.

You already know he could recruit. You know he can hire assistants. You know he can deal with big-league players and get them to perform. You know he can run a college team and that he can win. You know he can beat top 10 teams, and that he doesn't lose to teams with lesser talent.

I think Richt would do very well here, and I think he would be the best coach in the ACC.

Miami with the best coach in the ACC would be lethal.

I wouldn't hate it. I still have Butch and Herman as my top choices but Richt wouldn't be bad. He'd always have us in the hunt, I just wonder if he can pull of the big game.

Logic is hard to argue with.
