Harbaugh isn't elite. He's a very good coach but not elite. So Coker, Tressel, Chizik, Brown and Fulmer are all elite coaches. Nonsense. Truly!
No one said that. Find me an elite coach that hasn't one a championship... you can't. Not ALL coaches that win a NC are elite, but ALL elite coaches win a NC. You are misinterpreting a simple argument and statement by attributing the championship as the causer of eliteness when championship is just a measure used to gauge and measure eliteness.

What porous arguments. Comparing the resumes and results of Mark Richt and Jim Harbaugh at their respective coaching stages is asinine. Harbaugh has coached 8 years in college football. 7 of those 8 years were at the San Diego Toreros and Stanford, both teams who have NEVER won a college football championship. This is Harbaugh's first year at a school with adequate resources and an adequate recruiting base. This is his first year at a big time football program in which other external factors won't impede his coaching abilities. Richt was at Georgia for 15+ years, a school with a huge resource and talent base. The fact that he couldn't win a championship in 15 years and has only won the SEC championship twice proves that he is not 'ELITE.'
