There are some zesty football players. Mofos in the locker room know. Some of them be dogs on the field, they still got the man strength and will suplex a ****. This guys mentality dont seem like it will mesh with our grind alpha bro culture though.

Btw i have nothing against zesty people to be clear. But u need a certain mentality to play football here in this macho bro locker room Cristobal cultivating. They must have seen something to have been recruiting him. Overall, probably best he goes where he wants to.

Absolutely.

I think Mario and Mirabel figured the talent, potential, and locality made it worth the effort with the hope being you put this kid in the dog pound and he'll come out a dog, or he doesn't and you euthanize him...I mean let him portal

I dont think he was a plug n play tackle here...like ive been stating he needs 20+ pounds just to get close to the size of our incoming freshman tackles. He would b one of our smaller tackles...we have giants there.

He's a similar prospect to Samson to me..just he did go against better prospects down here...but same sort of timeline for playing...by like second year cracking rotational.

STA folks should be embarrassed by how he conducted himself. Hopefully, he is just immature and will grow up quickly. Terrible look.
 
He’s a kid. He looked foolish. But whatever. Time to continue to allocate resources and build a class. I’m sure we will circle back. But Jacobs, Bryant and other important spots. Linebacker would be a nice spot to throw money into. Portal a center and right tackle this spring.
