Really going out on a limb thereHe picked them to win
High school coaches liking or disliking a university is so odd to me. College coaches turn over every 3-6 years as do their staffs. So for a high school coach to actively dislike any university, despite the fact that the coaches change, is a weird personality trait that I don’t understand. it speaks to me of a pettiness that is illogical at best, and a personality disorder at worst. As long as Harriot is at STA we will struggle with their top players. He does not care for Miami
Goofy behavior, they act like the university murdered their families or some ****. Like bruh how do you do that to a player you are coaching?High school coaches liking or disliking a university is so odd to me. College coaches turn over every 3-6 years as do their staffs. If he picked OSU to win the game it clearly shows he's not a canes fan.Looks like its gonna be a tough battle for this guy. No hometown discount
A lot of guys who end up playing for UM aren't. I know we have this idea where a kid grows up as a big fan and follows his dream to play for the hometown team but recruiting is a lot more complicated than that. These kids ultimately deciding on where they go is based on a ton of factors and for I'd say at least half, being a fan of the team growing up is near the bottom. Especially when you're talking about the blue chip types. This is business/career stuff for them.If he picked OSU to win the game it clearly shows he's not a canes fan.
I was just hoping this local stud would be a canes fan like Bain and Toney to give us a better chance but since he picked OSU to win it's obvious he's not a canes fan.Yes we can land him but he's not going to give miami any hometown/home team break.A lot of guys who end up playing for UM aren't.
