Last year, we had a top 10 high school class, one of the best portal classes in the country, and absolutely killed it on retention. Mensah and Mali are two of the highest plaid players in the country. Sucks we couldn’t land this kid, but we will be survive lol

I also wonder if the kid like many aren't up for 3-4 years of Mario's practices and the expectations that each player must hold.

Clearly, Mario and Mirabel thought enough of this kid to bring him into the thunder dome that Greentree has become, but what one man envisions versus another is an entirely different story.

I don’t follow recruiting and really don’t care but I’ve heard and seen the noise about tracking for the number 1 class

Every time that talk heats up we go from “watch the finish” to “wash the spinach” or whatever the joke was a few years ago

Those statements are only made by the media to sound the alarm to other programs to start upping bags and gets schools to start honing in on the kids Miami wants before it’s too late
