Yeah, we need to stop comparing certain players, bruh. Lol. D Henry is a legit freak of nature. Dude is strong as ****, big as ****, & fast as ****. Everyone knows he’s getting the ball b/c he’s the only weapon on Offense & he’ll still break off 100+ in the NFL.

Ok, so Henry is too high of a ceiling, but you got to admit that Earl Campbell is his floor…👀

I remember all too well getting introduced to him in 2002

You may not remember how worried Canes fans were going into that game that without Gore we were sunk at the RB position. Then Willis gained what seemed like 8 yards per carry all game long and we were at the beginning of one of the greatest single season ever for a college RB.

But his competition in Yulee was trash...I mean toilet water. Not saying he wasn't good. But the level of competition in that area was terrible.

He reminds me of a rb I used to like a lot growing up
Natron means
He was a tank at UNC and with the (San Diego) Chargers, he just had a short shelf life, but for a few years in the early-mid '90s he was a problem. Barry Foster was too during that period.

Size, speed, & hands, Najeh...footwork, Edge.
When I saw him play, I saw Alonzo Highsmith ,
AH had a uncanny ramjet booster to break free you could see it the millisecond on first impact he would accelerate into contact first not waiting to be hit and lose stride.
AH eye hand coordination and field presence is elite NFL high level already.
With this new OLINE, we’ll all be coming out of our seats each carry.

Can’t forget Johnson he’s a rocket that cannot be caught and also not shy of contact.

Derrick Henry might literally be the greatest running back of all-time, all levels included. Its like him and Adrian Peterson. HS to College to Pro...just hall of famers at every level with records, full trophy cases, accolades.

Comparing someone to Derrick Henry is wild to me. Incomparable player.

I still remember the majority of CiS saying that it was okay for us to not recruit Henry because we had Duke Johnson in the bag. Most porsters at the time swore that Henry would be switched to LB in college, and that he had played terrible comp in high school and was slow.

Now don’t get me wrong, Duke is one of my favorite Canes and was a great player. But the hot takes regarding Henry at that time were terrible. Saban coveted him for a reason, and it wasn’t because he wanted him to play LB.
