Yea, for the most part, as far as fans go, they are a classy bunch.

Yea, for the most part, as far as fans go, they are a classy bunch.

They are kind of in a main rival no man's land. Ostensibly, Texas is their main rival, but Texas has dominated the 'series" if you will and then when TAMU went to the SEC, from '12 to '23 they didn't play them. At the same rough time period, Oklahoma and Nebraska stopped when Nebraska went to the B1G and Oklahoma vs Texas (Red River...Err, most politically correct name) gained even more prominence at the Cotton Bowl as the main rivalry game for both schools.

So maybe they have gained some "classiness" due to this lack of opposition focus on them as a rival. I guess it beats a rival ducking games, not acknowledging a floating rivalry trophy, etc.
