Coach must have seen that upside down U Pat did...
Pretty sure that’s Darius Butler. Who wishes he was a CaneI love how Joey Giveabloway pretends he’s all good with Miami…
McAz$$ was ESECPN’s attempt to get edgy after the Barstool Van Talk fiasco and knowing Corso was pretty much done for Gameday. They also knew that eventually Endeavor (TKO) would make a deal with them and McAz$$ has been involved with WWE since the pandemic, so easy tie in with that property.
McAz$$ does have a limited shelf life, the shtick will get old. Indeed, he could never top the diving platform stunt the whole rest of the Gameday season. Maybe he will last as long as Berman, but even his ego allowed interaction at a somewhat serious level and was most happy (albeit not as talented as others) calling baseball games.
I give Pat until about 2030, unless they don't resign him 2028.
he's self made ... can't hate that
- The Pat McAfee Show: 439,000 viewers (YouTube viewership and ESPN metrics), most-watched October audience; up 5% year-over-year across You Tube
Nothing to do with edgy. They need him because nobody was watching their espn daily produced shows . If you include Gameday he’s on two of their higher rated shows. They’re paying him lots of money for him to bring HIS SHOW on to their network because he brings numbers. Period. They need him far more than he needs them. Dude went from a closet to the biggest thing in sports media as an independent media outlet. Hate him all you want he’s not going anywhere. I for one hope he doesn’t resign his shows right’s because I hate ESPN and everything they stand for.
And all those espn snobby elitist’s like Wilbon / Kornheiser were calling him stupid for retiring to start his own little show.he's self made ... can't hate that
I missed that. Pat did an upside down U?Coach must have seen that upside down U Pat did...
rich eisen did something similar ... left espn, bet on himself, grew his audience and now he's back ... there's a new formula where you can have the leverage instead of the networks giving you pennies on the dollarAnd all those espn snobby elitist’s like Wilbon / Kornheiser were calling him stupid for retiring to start his own little show.
He is an entertainer ... period. Banking WWE type money. He does it for the crowd man. Guy was praising us like crazy during gameday. It's an act
Dan Patrick too. The thing crazy about Pat nobody knew minus real football fans. He had zero brand . Dan and Rich had years of building a name for themselves on national tv shows but still impressiverich eisen did something similar ... left espn, bet on himself, grew his audience and now he's back ... there's a new formula where you can have the leverage instead of the networks giving you pennies on the dollar
I think he wanted to punch him right in the face. Pat was lucky.
Go Canes!
i will say tho ... aaron rodgers give pat a huge alley oop ... but other than that, he's legitDan Patrick too. The thing crazy about Pat nobody knew minus real football fans. He had zero brand . Dan and Rich had years of building a name for themselves on national tv shows but still impressive
