Mario says he had to relearn how to let loose during game time

By saying I'm not a mod it means I don't do any of the banning or consequences. Ha. I actually never threatened consequences - the opposite. You're lying. And, it shows weakness. I've now attempted to discuss football with you. Good luck.
No, I'm pretty sure LuCane was the school marm in that case.

But you admitted that you didn't know anything about football. You're just spouting cliches.

We turned the ball over, committed tons of penalties and didn't block on key plays.

That's why we have two losses. Not some made-up, retconned "changes" other than some trickery thrown in by Dawson in key moments.

Meh. Nowhere in that interview does he say anything about purposely holding the offense back. He mentions “cutting loose” but is very vague about the whole thing.

Look, I want Mario to give up being a scared conservative coach and I thought last year’s results had turned that page but this year he went right back into a shell in week one. I think that’s always who he is.
He is who is. The difference this year was the horrendous officiating. When you look back on the SMU game, if that game was called fairly it would not have been a loss. It would have been a close game, which I think Mario is fine with, but it would have not been a loss. I think Mario came away from that game understanding we have to win every game by 2 TD's max so as to not allow the horrendous officiating bias against Miami to be a factor. I think he came away from that game understanding that the ACC is not going to protect Miami and he has to take matters into his own hands. That means maximizing every scoring opportunity.

The ACC finally protected Miami in the Pitt game once they realized there was a chance the ACC would be shutout of the playoffs. It was no coincidence that we finally saw a fairly officiated game for the first time all season. To me that was the biggest indicator that all of us have been right all these years. The ACC brass has never held officials accountable for the bias shown on the field. You can guarantee if Clemson was on top this year, like they normally are, you would have seen the same garbage officiating against Pitt. And you can guarantee the garbage officiating starts again game 1 next year. This is why Mario needs to open the flood gates and not allow the officials to change the outcome of the game. I think he understands that now.

You're making things up and sound emotional and cornered.

Ha.

Yes, all we changed is trickery. Not formations. Not alignment. Not actual playcall tendencies. All already proven to you in multiple posts by multiple posters.

And, this is the guy telling others about what they know about football.

I've got no more use for this guy...

Every single thing mentioned by you and other dopes was personnel and/or wildcat/gimmicks.

The base of the offense is and has been unchanged.

Dawson gave a free clinic to everybody after the Louisville game and some of you still can't get this **** right.

Regardless of what he did or didn't actually say, this is by far our biggest question mark going into A&M.

Dawson has to call the offense like he did over the last month.. using spacing, creativity and letting Beck make changes at the line.

If we fall back to trying to control the clock and limiting possessions, this is as far as we'll go.

I think Miami is playing with house money at this point. No reason to hold back.

Never thought it was Dawson. During the SMU game the commentator made a brief comment about speaking with Dawson and Dawson mentioned he had to "get complacent being boring."

Last year defense was not that great so we needed to sling the ball around. This year the defense was better so 28 points was what they thought was needed to win games.

It was very brief comment by the commentator and he never followed up on it.
accurate. he said that also in a monday presser. plus he also said that he called run plays based on what mirabal wanted.

Thank you for posting. He said he had to “relearn how to cut it loose” during game time. So he didn’t actually say he handcuffed the offense but I think it’s implied - at least to me - that he was the one who was tightening up in the games. He’s saying the right things now so let’s see.

I edited the title because I think it’s misleading to a point as it is.
Of course you would interpret his words this way because that would match your narrative lol.

So now you can hear sound through printed text.

A real genius.

No, you're just dodging.

You were definitely the rent-a-cop who tried to regulate opinions here.

Accurate, truthful statements aren't really your thing, huh?

Here come the gaslight attempts, projections, accusations, and emotionally-charged attacks.

Keep it going, though. I look forward to more foolish lies and funny posts.

It was 0-0 with about 5 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter at home against one of the worst p4 teams. We had 4 possessions, ran 24 plays for 72 yards. 2 sacks and an INT called back due to penalty. On tv the body language was bad and there was no juice. **** was ready to collapse, the only saving grace was going to be that Syracuse was so bad we’d just over power them in the end (like Stanford) and grind out a W. But the next drive something changes. We hit 25 yard catch and run to Marion, a yard 8 run by Brown, a 41 yard screen to upshaw, 12 yards to Moore then we throw the TD to Beck. We started to let it rip.

It was as if the clouds disappeared. The veil lifted. Everyone was excited. The crowd got life. 3 plays later it’s a pick 6 and for the most part we haven’t looked back since. That 3 and half minute span was the turning point in our season.
This exactly. Dawson and the Offense just immediately started to play loose and confident!
