Dan Campbell is literally one of the MOST aggressive coaches in the NFL who almost always defaults to aggression over conservative. And he almost always makes the correct analytics backed decision. This year their run game is a little more boring similar to ours, but it’s with a new OC and they have struggles on 3new iOL… if Dan Campbell was our Coach we would have been in the CFp last year and would absolutely be the #1 team in the country right now.

Looking at it through the wrong lens. It’s all timing. Teams regularly self scout and evolve between weeks 5-7 or so when they start getting byes. We do the opposite and double down on what worked weeks 1-4. Teams figure it out and beat us. Compound that with the poor depth management and we have guys like Bain playing 60-70 snaps a game. Laughable to think he’ll be 100% by week 10-14 even if we were in the playoff hunt. If we played UF, ND, or USF right now we’d be cooked.
 
If he chooses the path of obstinance and eschews a course correction then I'll go on record and say that Mario Cristobal will not be the head coach at Miami in January of 2027. Even Manny knew he had to change. ****, I would choose Manny with our current commitment to the NIL over Mario.

campbell also allows his coordinators to scheme and call plays and doesn't hold them back. this insistence on a certain style of run offense and approach overall (conservative, slow tempo, etc.) doesn't help. Mario did this when he hired gattis and ponce and told them to work together when they had diff approaches to the game.

So at least he is smart enough to do something about it. My question is why is Mirabel not doing the same thing? Arguably we have more depth on the OL then the DL. He should be replacing the OL as soon as he makes a mistake. That is the only way you fix this at this point.

Beginning to think Mirabel is overrated. If he’s so good why isn’t he letting his great ol get out and block some dudes. Instead of this wall bs. You mean to tell me 61 can’t get out and seal the edge for us. Come on now. Kids a 1st round talent.

IMO it's important to Mario to win with a dominant OL and physical running game where he gets all or most of the credit,last year Cam and Dowson got all the praise.I believe that bothered Mario.

I listed to the entire interview with Joe and this guy has absolutely lost his mind. He says the same thing every game after we lose and has no answers. He doesn't realize this because his ego won't let him but he is the biggest clown in college football. He is getting torched on podcasts, talk shows, TV, stadiums, and places of work. The guy has ZERO FOOTBALL ACUMEN!

RT and guards aren't usually first round guys.

As a three year starter, Cici hasn't exactly lit it up this year. He has been at best average despite what the CIS podcast says where he "will" be drafted

I have to say, I haven't seen him getting downfield as much the last few weeks mauling people. It's all been in a phone booth. Disgusting.
