It looks like Taylor has implemented a rule that if you jump offsides, you are coming out of the game. Against Stanford, 11 jumped offsides and immediately headed to the sideline to be replaced. Against SMU, he jumped offsides and did the same thing. The problem is SMU plays so fast that Taylor motioned to him to stay in the game because they would not be able to substitute in time. So at least he is smart enough to do something about it. My question is why is Mirabel not doing the same thing? Arguably we have more depth on the OL then the DL. He should be replacing the OL as soon as he makes a mistake. That is the only way you fix this at this point.
