On Offense with Mensah I think we're better. We'll see some regression on defense because of experience but we have a lot guys on that side of the field that are ready to step up. Biggest thing we need is someone at linebacker to break out that's our biggest hole. Wes and Toure are serviceable but they're not game wreckers nor sound most of the time.

We need to hit the portal and get some missing pieces. They need Wilson and Seaton, but then after that they need a WR1, a good physical TE and a CB. Bauman, OJ and O'Conner didn't have it when the lights came on. And we could have used a deep threat. And Bauman just isn't a Miami TE.

Reload what we're losing (Bain, Mesidore, Francis), plug the holes, and work all offseason on fundamentals, penalties, and special teams. And next year we'll have another shot at this.

I never said Mario wasn’t the right guy or that the sky is falling. I just understand that getting here multiple times is virtually impossible, unless you are loaded like OSU and back in the day UGA and Bama. Which we are not. So yes it’s fine to be highly disappointed in losing to a worse football team bc your coaching staff got outcoached.

I’ll refer you to Rell’s list of coaches who won titles. They all do it within the first 2-3 years. Dabo and Harbaugh being the only exceptions.

You said it perfectly. I have never been this calm after a loss, let alone the National Championship. Our guys played their hearts out. I am very proud of the fight both sides of the ball had. Our future looks great

Biggest suck will be the defense will take a step back with Bain, Messidor, Scott and Thomas will be gone. They will be very good but dominant will be something we will have to see

I think what we’re best at, OL & DL will both take steps back. If Moten is back, I think our interior DL will be better than our edge guys next year. Losing **** near the whole OL sucks. No idea what we’re doing at center. Obviously if we somehow land Seaton and Wilson, that changes a lot.

I wouldn’t even say we got outcoached. We just got beat. Our opponent wasn’t a scrub. Mario and his staff did what two staffs we probably would’ve taken in October couldn’t do. They came back vs this team. Multiple times.

Tonight hurts. But I can’t say we lost because of coaching. We adjusted and made it game. You don’t do that being outcoached.

With Lowe, scroggins, and whoever steps up as DT3 in rotation
