Lost all kinds of respect for Cignetti with all of his whining to Holly Rowe at halftime about how Miami’s D was hitting his QB. Lame.

Sadly we ain’t getting more at WR…. Unless one of these freshman WRs step up, these two transfers are no better than Marion or Daniels. We decided to go after #2 and #3 type WRs again except a Coleman or Marsh.
 
We r so close! With a qb that can read coverage, we take the underneath on that and don’t get an int. need WRs to step up. The guys are already here! We just need to coach them up. Definitely something to look forward to in the spring. Hoping g that at the end of next season we are talking about the emergence of Nickel or Coleman as this QB drama is taxing. But we lost the CFP finals on the final drive due to impatience. Need to learn that lesson so the next time it’s a W!

So did I. He does nothing but ***** on the sidelines. But he’s a good coach, whose team doesn’t beat themselves. That’s why they just stole a title from us. They were the 2nd best team on that field tonight.

We can only hope Toney just takes that next step which he has been

If mensah is coming I think we have an upgrade at QB

Biggest suck will be the defense will take a step back with Bain, Messidor, Scott and Thomas will be gone. They will be very good but dominant will be something we will have to see

It’s not like we went 7-5 man. Truth be told, Cig just might be a better coach. It is what it is. We weren’t outclassed. We beat three top 10 teams on this run. Just couldn’t be the #1 team. It sucks. And it hurts but it happens man. Cig has lost twice in what 30 games at IU? Sometimes you just run into a bigger dog. It happens.

Every AD for the past 50 years has wanted those results in the quickness.

It might be worse for the profession as the expectation of immediate success will be expected.

Miami was the better team. Indiana had the better coaching staff.

We were a few plays going different ways from being on the podium rn. I’m not taking a moral victory route here. But that’s just reality. Idgaf who your coach is. You aren’t winning the natty every year. Saban didn’t. Odds are we are going to lose more heartbreakers than we win. If it was easy, there’d be more than four active HCs with rings.

That doesn’t mean we have the wrong guy. Or we need more time. We are at the doorstep. Can’t get all knee jerky and act like the sky is falling. We didn’t quit, when we multiple opportunities to do so. We just lost to the best HC in CFB. Not hyperbole to say the guy running our ship isn’t T5.
