Yup I legit am worried about some posters. If they're going this hard now, how they gonna cope 3,4...7 years later if Mario doesn't turn into Knute Rockne? I freely admit my optimism with Coach is predicated on the fact that unless he starts publicly murdering puppies, he's here at least another 3-4 years. No benefit in being miserable if the light at the end of the tunnel is half a decade away.

I mean, no real reason to too fired up right now, but start 1-2 with losses to ND and UF at home and the only Mario fans will be his friends, family and CIS hype squad and that is how it should be. Let's hope the portal evals are his best ever and Cam 2.0 walks through the door with an entire back 7 on defense.

He knows that schedule better than anyone. Just like recruiting Cam he knew the importance of a 10 win season. The assistant turnover should have you most concerned

His inability to hire is extremely concerning. His worker harder not smarter is concerning. He knew 10 wins was important - failed to manage the defensive roster.

I expect us to get in the playoff next year. I'll be disappointed if we don't. I don't care how we get there, just that we do.

Your hypothetical, while it would result in max mopery here, would have no bearing on our chances to win the ACC and make the playoff.

Make the playoff next year in year 4; I'm happy. Don't; I'm sad. I'm a simple man.
