I just don't understand the outcry. Its not like it was a personal shot at him. It stated his record and that his mainly quality is recruiting. I just don't get the anger over this.

Also if you position yourself like he has for the job, then no one should be surprised by the reaction. He has no business maneuvering for the job and we have no business considering him for it.

Let him get a job with a lower tier program and prove he would be worth the hire.

If Mario was smart, which he isn't, he'd be positioning himself for the UCF job with the plan of going there and proving he's ready for a Major Power 5 job.

No, they remember. The BBB crowd falls into 1 of 2 categories ... Guys who still think it's 1995, and guys who were too young to really enjoy when Miami was good, so all they have is 2000 and 2001.

I think Mario would bring a ton of questions, but I think he would get the majority of the recruits he wants. The coaches and players have spoken, plus he can also use the I learned whatever from Saban card. I actually think he would do a better recruiting job than Butch at this point.

Can he coach and form a successful staff? That's my hesitation at this point.

I almost hope he gets hired at this point. The amount of **** talked about him by this fanbase is epic. I'm by no means excusing him at FIU, but toss Saban or Meyer in there I'd predict no more than an extra win or two.
