QB isn't played in a world where things are theoretically equal for comparison. This year's team is entirely different from last year. Creativity and success in the running game and play design/calling that takes advantage of defensive tendencies and weaknesses, effectively using tempo, etc. can make all the difference in how a QB performs. I don't know that the "trust" thing is just about Beck, it's about whether they trust the very idea of offensive sophistication, creativity, tempo and aggression. Mario isn't comfortable with those things when he knows he has a good defense to rely on, unlike last year.

Brown has been extremely good on short distances in every game but the 4th and one in this game unfortunately and has great hands. Do we beat ND without him? Not saying Lyle doesnt have talent but he's not working in this scheme at all. Rather see Pringle, he has more burst and speed.

Agree 100% although to me it was much like the Louisville player getting the sealing pick, it was a great play, reminiscent of Cormani’s pick in the Florida game.

That never happened.
 
Beck threw the 2nd most ints in college football in 2024 and is in the same spot (2nd) today 8 games in.Georgia knew what they had,likely cost them 1 NC.

Mario didn’t exactly fleece Miami. I am not a football genius but if you go back and look at my posts when he was hired , this is turning out exactly like I predicted. It’s why I was one of just 3 or 4 posters on this site that pushed for Lane. People without blinders knew this is what we would get from Mario. Beck was more uncertain. They thought he would be the qb UGA expected when they recruited him.

Numerous runs get got stopped short that brown/fletch get 2-4 more yards and keep drives going. Dude has some talent but should honestly hit the portal.

He didn't go to Toney today Marion stepped up on multiple 3rd downs.

You are right on the OC and OL. They have protected them all season - every player on that OL had multiple penalties today
