Marcus Lewis crystal ball flipped to Miami last night..

Just like Pete said Merrick was a lock to Miami... Not a knock on Pete cuz he has been one of the better one's at this guessing game BS over the yrs, but let's be real everyone is just making a strong guess based on there "sources" and "gut feeling". The Lewis situation may be legit since Pete claims it is something out of the coaches hands, so may be grades issues which is more definitive.

Link?

There is now talk that he has silently committed to 3 schools, including Miami. Welcome to recruiting season

as far as I am concerned unless pete posts that he has information from a source (he doesn't have to reveal the source), I am going to discount it as rumor. if he wants to be a reporter he should report and not post vague statements that can just as easily be conjecture. all he has to do is say a good source of mine tells me.... and then we can judge his record after.

So are you providing a link saying the poster was correct or nah?

Cause Pete clearly said he was rumored to be committed to 3 schools which is far from a lock..

Its one thing for a local kid to commit to UM knowing that there will likely be a coaching change during their time on campus. It seems that it would be a much larger commitment from a kid outside the area to buy into that. I can see this being a sticking point for a parent, especially a mother.

Real Talk.

Pete has been wrong a bunch the three cycles he has really been making predictions.

He is not coming to Miami.

Looks like we're in store for another trademark Al Golden collapse to close out a recruiting cycle. And no one should be surprised.

It needs to be repeated ad nauseum that CB recruiting these past two years could not possibly have gone any worse. Ryan Mayes, Michael Jackson-Kerr, and that's it. Two low-rated Golden/D'Onofrio/Williams camp finds whose best attributes are that they're tall and long.

The staff failed to land any of the following South Florida CBs over the last 2 years: J.C. Jackson, Quincy Wilson, Juwan Dowels, Carlton Davis, Davante Davis, Tyrek Cole, Tarvarus McFadden, Damon Arnette, Rashad Fenton, Jeremiah Dinson, Rashard Causey, Ronnie Hoggins, and Sheldrick Redwine. They prioritized only a few of those aforementioned corners and couldn't close on any of them. They also ignored a bunch of those guys, many of whom are heading to high quality programs.

When you go all-in to land a premier out-of-state recruit and neglect so much homegrown talent in the process, you better f***ing land him. It's now clear that won't happen. Golden, D'Onofrio, and Williams are a disgrace.
