Would you rather have Mushcamp or Strong Coaching the LBs or Blake Baker?
And if those guys turned you down, what's the justification keeping Baker around if you weren't pleased with his work last year?

So if strong, muscamp ,leavit or Diaz were seeking a DC position you think Diaz would be the prime target? Don’t look at just one year but the whole package. Maybe I’m wrong... maybe other CIS will have your opinion as well.
 
There is zero rationale for keeping Baker around. Manny is basically acknowledging that Baker sucks but won’t cut him loose. This is some straight up Brokeback Mountain “ I wish I knew how to quit you” bull ****!! WTF

How was he a top 5 DC when in his entire career he coordinated one top 10 defense.

Hes not even a top 25 DC. Yall need to watch other games and not just Canes highlights of the chain.

I agree it’s not the perfect outcome. Plenty to criticize. But also plenty to applaud. I don’t give a **** if Miami wants to give Rumph money to do nothing, btw. And no way DVD gets slotted in unless the new DB coach was on board. Blake remaining on staff is a joke, but at least Manny has neutered him. Again, I’m biased because I loved Manny’s defense when he called the plays. Sark is doing the same at TX with the offense, I believe.

21st, 34th, 75th, 56th, 38th, 36th, 12th, 28th, 18th. Almost ten years of data. decent, above average. but unbelievably overrated by some fans.

Are you going on total yards? And leaving off the fact that he turned around no'd defense in two years and that we were Under DIAZ

#1 defensive passing efficiency
#1 in TFL
#3 in sacks
Top 10 in 3rd down defense
#1 in turnovers


I mean you gotta try to be ignorant to base your whole basis on absolutely irrelevant data and leave out all the important things

you claimed hes a top 7 DC in the sport. I just showedyou the stats that say he aint.

Btw, Blake Baker was also top five in sacks and TFL. Meaningless stats that unequivocally dont correlate to good defense.
