Tackling could've certainly been better. I wonder how much the 1's went against the 1's. I know you do 1 v 2 to build confidence, but it seems like that's all we do. Our guys don't tackle or run with guys like they saw tonight in Bama. 1 v 1 it would've been closer at least, but again, do we do that?

What a mess though. Could've played better, but that team we played is easily 3 to 4 TD's better than us on our best day. We were ragdolled out there and even if this is the fastest team we've had, they were faster.

For sure. If we play 100 times, we may win 3 of them. They are cherry picking freaks and then have the best coaches getting them to reach their maximum or recruiting over and processing out if the guys can’t do that. We will see if this team improves over the course of the year and if we beat the teams we should. To me, that means just about the rest of the regular season schedule. And I truly hope we do. But man it is getting tiring going into big games and just ****ting the bed.

I do agree but I don’t even think Manny was ****ed about the hold. I think he was still *****ing about the previous play. However, we aren’t getting these calls so they need to figure it out.

Ok the school fires Manny, then they make another cheap hire. The program is dead.
 
He’s right. Baring a King injury, this will be a markedly better team by the end of the season.

The big problem I have with the defense(especially after watching this Georgia clemson game) is how we play our corners. We need to play press man but from what some say we don’t have the athletes to do so. From someone who knows Xs and Os better than me is this the case or is it just a terrible scheme bc I don’t see any reason you would play 5-10 yards off the line of scrimmage every play.

I don’t believe in manny. But it’s week 1 I had us 0-1 to start anyway. I thought we would at least cover the spread. Not as bad as unc last year. Think Miami can go 10-1. Not gonna dwell on a game that 98% of CFB loses to

Except for irrational few fans, no one expected to start season 1-0
It's the manner we lost. We didn't look like we're a good team capable of winning the coastal and not being embarrassed by Clemson, again.

Didn’t VT play press with their DBs against UNC? Perhaps, they have the athletes that we never seem to be able to recruit

This is the root cause of our problems. The BOT has failed this program. They never made football a priority. Instead of wanting to be known as a football factory they wanted to be the Ivy League school of the south. How’s that worked out?
