Facts.
His football approach is the best thing about manny. He had shown he’s willing to adapt and is an analytical coach. You won’t ever have to worry about his drive to coach or does he really want to do this. In that sense he “fits” Miami and has that swagger about him. I still Have reservations about his defense in big games and overall his recruiting but he can prove me wrong next year

We’ve all spent the last year saying, if we had an offense, if we had an offense **** near everyweak. That’s what was mainly wrong with that. Right now we get a young innovative coach who truly has a passion for coaching and the university of Miami. If he hires a dynamic offensive coordinator and based on his comments he will then I think he can do well here

So Hartley who is ranked as one of these Top Recruiters in the nation should be fired. You do realize that if you fire him there is a good chance you loose either Jordan or Mallory or possibly both.....
 
He was asked if, coaching against them in practice and being around them, he thought we had Talent on the offensive side of the ball. Instead of giving the canned "yes-we-just-need-to-put-them-in-a-better-position-to-succeed-and-execute" type of response he basically said that it doesn't matter how much "talent" / stars a player has all that matters is results. He specifically mentioned practice, conditioning, and, ultimately, on the field results. Essentially that you can't walk around entitled because of how many stars you had or what you think you can do, that it's put-up or shut up. Thought that was really telling of both what he thinks of last year's offense and players, and what sort of changes might be in store.

Keep one thing in mind, 12 hours ago, he was the HC at Temple— sound familiar? Four days ago his claim to fame was getting rolled over by a cheese factory, again. Does he even know my elite guys?

Yes i realize all that, the offense was better spread out and no tight ends anyway. If jordan and mallory want to go they can.
 
It is completely idiotic to write this guy off before he even assembles a staff, much less recruit, build, and coach. He wasn't my first choice either, but he deserves a fair shot. Let's see what happens.

The same people who are writing him off now are the same people who crowned Richt our savior the moment he was hired.

Are you kidding? He fielded a defense that was consistently put in awful situations by the genius OC/HC we had. It's funny how some of you view his body of work while his peers thought he was one of the best in the game this year.
I don't care how good your defense is if your offense doesn't allow you to get off the field and catch a break......you will break! And would apply to Alabama and even Miami's dominant Ds in the past.

Actually they are dumber than I suspected. Either that or Seminole and Gaytor bots have completely inundated this board. Manny will be fired after year 2 and Jake Blames will hire his DC as his replacement to ensure “continuity”.
