Manny might get one more year

Zero chance.

And if by some chance our incompetent, apathetic, clueless BOT does do this......the banners will be flying all offseason and during week 1. I'll be rooting for losses from this point forward until Manny is officially gonzo.

Can't take any chances boys. We are dealing with certified retards here.

Even if he was 100% coming here after the season, which is not where this stands, this would absolutely be the dumbest thing he could do at this time.

It would be mind numbingly stupid.

It will all come down to how quickly they can hire the new AD.

Three scenarios (IMHO)

1. Mario says YES, Manny is gone regardless of the timing.

2. The new AD is in place two weeks from now, he fires Manny and, maybe, he has a chance to make a full search for the new HC (if Mario says NO)

3. If we pass December without the new AD and Mario says NO, Manny gets another year.

This is why many of us, me included, thought that we were already late: given how quickly this coaching carousel moved, we should have fired Manny a month ago. At least.

Manny definitely getting fired either as Head Coach or Def Coordinator. One way or another he’s done.

Seems like the Admin and some part of the BOT are definitely trying to foster the "Manny's job not decided yet" line. Last night in one of those twitter space chats Manny Navarro was maintaining that no decision has been made on Manny yet and there is a faction within the BOT that supports him - possible would be a restructuring of his contract and he would be given another year. Also said that while the BOT recognizes the fan base is not going to settle anymore, they won't make a change for the sake of change if they can't land a big fish to make it happen.

Right because this can’t drag into the playoffs and totally ***** us if he decides not to come, at the end. Mario is also testing waters at other coaching gigs. Another brilliant take from you.
