That’s the point of the show. They know they’re aren’t funny and at the same time trying to be. It just works.

I understand the hate Lebets gets here but outside of Howard Stern, his radio show is probably the most entertaining show in the nation.

Don't worry. It'll start to suck for the rest of the world just like Stern with the introduction of Lebatard's fiance/wife more and more into the show.
 
I realize you can't act like a frat boy on national radio while you have a high profile 7 figure job, but man was that uncomfortable to listen to.

For a guy that supposedly embodies Miami, young & energetic.... he had the radio presence of dementia era Mark Richt.

Seems like if Manny can't do the scripted talking points he regurgitates every time he is with Joe Zagacki or Joe Rose, then he really doesn't have anything to say.

If you want the questions you want asked, then go listen to Manny when he’s on WQAM. Dan is not the show for you and how you want sports to be covered if you expect him to ask the cliche typical questions.

Exactly! Kinda like speculating on these boards over and over what the offensive staff might look like. After the 10th tread of X for OC, Y for RB, Z for WR coach, uncle... I like a combo of silliness and real sports every once in a while. So I get the show is not for everyone and perfectly fine if that’s the case.

The punka$$ wrote for the college rag when I was there... sniffling id1ot...

He hung around the sports complex befriending everyone to write for the rag; turned on them overnight and got the **** out .... would have been belted by more than one individual I know..
 
Stugotz and MIke Ryan are good. Lebatard is the lame guy that thinks he is cool and funny...but everyone is just around because he has the money and w*8d.

And lol @ you just don't get it..or its over your head. Ive listened to his show for **** near 10 more years and NEVER thought he was funny. Always listened for the other guys attached to the show..even down to guys like Zaslow.

Luckily I was able to listen to Manny on Joe Rose show.

Agree. Show some unscripted personality. He comes out and shows some funny personality, recruits eat that up because it shows he can related on another aspect aside from football.

And then, when Manny's successful, he'll be trying to give serious interviews about UM and how he and his black clad baseball cap'd outfit are all 305... nice company line though.
