Manny: "Hello"

Caller: "Hi, this is (blank) from the Dan LeBatard show."

Manny: "Uh, who is LeRetard?"

Caller: "It's LeBetard. Dan LeBetard. He is on ESPN Radio and would like to interview you for his show"

Manny: "OOHH, Dan LeBetard, yeah, I think I've heard of that guy. Can you just hold one second, I just have to wrap up this conversation I was in the middle of, hang on I'll be right back." Sets down phone in the middle of the street and walks into nearest Apple store to get a new phone and new number so that he never has to hear from those *** clowns again.

Have you listened to the other shows?? Stephen A only talks NBA or Dallas Cowboys, and it sells. Will Cain is ok but it’s just a different show I like it but I don’t listen religiously

Lebatard's the only sports show that I listen to. I mean who wants to listen to someone asking Manny if he picked an OC yet for the 100th time this week? Interview was awkward af which is par for the course with their show. Pipo was funny and teeing him up to make fun of finebaum was a good move by them

Sure you don’t like it, but it is extremely popular. I hate LeBatard but I tune in sometimes just for Stugotz.

I have. I watched Laretard a few times when he and his crew were on ESPNU and didn't care for him much then either. Don't watch Stephen A because he has an obvious bias. But like you said, to each his own.
 
The U just went 7-6 with a butt raping in the bowl game. You think this fan base is in the mood for jokie jokes? Fuq outa here! Whos the **** OC and how are we gonna recruit moving forward is all I want to know.

I feel a lot of our fans are still butt hurt on what happened in the 90s with LeBatard. He is/was a journalist and that’s what he did. It’s water under the bridge, I love the show and always makes me crack up. I got hooked in ‘05 moving to S Florida, not having any good options the show made me crack up with old wrestlers being interviewed etc. I don’t listen religiously now because I’m in and out of my car but I still enjoy it and get it. I remember when he went National I told my cousin in Michigan about it, he listened and said it’s terrible, I told him it takes time to understand it but if you set your expectations for actual sports talk, learn to laugh with it and not take it to seriously and dabble into other uncomfortable conversations it’s awesome. He texted me 6 months later and said he was wrong and I was right and loves the show now.
 
I used to listen to the lebatard show once in a while not for sports but because it was funny. But then a few years ago dude went full blown political activist mode and the show lost its luster. Haven’t listened in a long time

"Like", "um", "right" all in same vein.

If he is doing that already, clearly he is a corch, far from elite, and will only recruit no-star players. AND he went to FSU.

That being said national or regional, who do you any of the other posters listen to (including podcast). Canes are my main love but I enjoy college hoops and baseball so always looking for new good podcast or shows to listen to. I find myself listening to Feinbaum because he talks college football (even though it’s SEC)
