10 win seasons are better than 7-5, but those seasons won’t get you to the ACC ship. We found that out last year. Most knew that coming in to this year. Now we have experienced it 2 years. Enjoy those 10 win seasons, but it won’t be good enough to be where Miami and its fans want to be.

2025 duke made it to the acc championship at 7-5
2025 SMU made it to the acc championship at 10-2

do you guys not understand how reality works ? you have down games. yes, even the 2001 miami hurricanes had them. sometimes you pull them out, sometimes you dont. like when your QB throws 4 int's. often times it comes down to dumb luck. the goal is: whatever gives you the best odds. if you have a system thats put together back to back 10-2 seasons, you stick with that system, because eventually its going to be an 11-1 season. or eventually, 10-2 gets you into the playoffs like it usually does.
