This has been explained many times as to why Duke played NC ST. It was a fill in game and both agreed to it and the conference allowed it as a non conference game so both teams could fill their schedule. All ACC teams play 8 conference games and that one had no influence on the rankings.

This conference is a joke. The fact that your opponents records, even if they got that record by beating you decides who goes got the final is insane. Us or SMU should be in the title game. I even take Georgia tech cause they beat duke. Also the conference schedules the games should they decide who plays who. It’s not like you can schedule the hardest conference schedule possible to get a chance of winning. This is a terrible precedent and I hope they change this bull****.

Anybody with a brain realizes that and also realizes it’s the most stupid ******* rule in the world the fact that Duke is in the ACC championship.
