Manny’s quote leads me to believe that Baker is going nowhere

I don’t know when that quote was stated, but it sounds verbatim to one he’s made in the recent past.

How does that confirm it OP?

Diaz is focused on EE signing day on Wednesday im sure and doing alot of damage control with the class these next 48hrs. He will deal with Baker after that time. Just like how he handled the Enos situation..Diaz will fire Baker and anyone else with class. There wont be any ESPN headline on this. He likes Baker and will probably try to help him find another job and call it a "mutual parting" or something.

Inference?
I think an inference can be drawn from it - at least I drew the inference as a set up for the future but i have little faith in these coaches these days. Was this at a press conference?

Well, OP, look at that.
Somewhat realistic 'ideal' scenario:

-Fire Baker and Rumph
-Stroud moves to an off-field role due to health concerns
-Hire a new DC and the other 2 position coaches as needed (depends if the DC is a LB coach, DBs, or DL). Banda could coach LBs, Safeties, DBs, or Strikers. Patke could take over LBs or stay at Strikers only in addition to STs.

Wait, is there Mope on Mope violence going on here?

See this is a problem for the long term Mope movement. The Mopes are cannibalistic piranhas who will brutalize their own on a pin drop whereas the Slurpers swim in a harmonious slurper school.

You Mopes gonna divide and let the Slurpers pick at the carcasses like Turkey Vultures or y’all gonna unite into a Unified Mope Army and swarm?

Well Manny I know you guys being “so tight” will only make it even harder to fire them. But if you don’t you are in serious trouble moving forward. Never hire family or friends. Business 101... but he’s the son of a politician so he has no business acumen what so ever
