Ok... after Ive sat back and digested all this from Saturday I will give my opinion on here since so many have given theirs.
1. Manny isnt getting fired "yet" All the wishful thinking can go out the door with that one. As bad as the loss was Saturday he improved in year 2 (8-2) whether you like it or not.
2. Manny has to make the necessary changes defensively. This is an absolute must if he is to survive his tenure. This means cleaning house on the defensive side of the ball.
3. The administration deserves as much of the blame for the last 15 plus years, but they must not prematurely extend his contract this offseason and that very well may not happen thankfully due to Covid and 2020.
4. We will see how much the hiring of Ed Reed factors into this. Was his hiring a PR thing or not? I cannot imagine how ****ed he must have been watching that game. We will see....
5. Back to #2... we have talent on this team and we have more coming in with this class. We all see this, we know this. Its all about scheme and COACHING. Manny has to get these defensive hires right because the next class in SFla is loaded with talent.
6. ACC title game next year or else hes done IMO...the roster will still be good for a new coach to come in immediately and make his mark.
Thats it from me... dont know what else to say other than that's how I feel right now. My opinions can change depending on what happens from here on out.
