Manny’s Presser

Man-cheese talks about him being at fault for not getting the players to respect the opponents, but it's ******* clear that none of the caoching staff respected the opponent either. And by respect the opponent, I mean respecting them enough to not go out there with the world's laziest play calling.

Enos for 3 quarters was playing in a phone booth, and it looks like the defense was handed back to Baker Saturday becasue that was EXACTLY the type of play calling we saw for the first month of the season. There was no game planning for the opponent, no new wrinkles, no will to go out there and put on a ******* show. They wanted to do the bare minimum in the penultimate game of the season and last game in Miami in a 6-4 season.

Fvck the coaches.

Great point. I wonder at some point if Manny will actually admit that he and his staff took on the roles of us fans (basically penciling this game in as a "W" and looking WAY ahead to possibly sneaking into the Orange Bowl to play Bama as crazy as it sounds) and spent 75% of his time recruiting and taking advantage of the 3 game win streak momentum to try and close this class strong instead of treating this game like it was the FSU game. I will bet that week of preparation for that FSU game was night and day compared to this FIU game. "Rookie HC" move right there. Smh.

"Miami plays better when Miami plays like Miami. If you understand what I mean then you understand what I mean by that"

Capture manny clinic.webp

Watching it, I suddenly came down with relentless yawns. But I did notice the dark circles around his eyes. He blamed the culture that needs to change but then defended chain and Twitter posts as ”Uniquely” a Miami culture thing. Then SMD came on, and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I thought he was going to unveil the 3rd down conversion dance shoes. Gotta go all in on the trinket fest, and there is no time like a depresser after a loss to excite the fan base with a new trinket. He really blew it.

Exactly! Good lesson for the youth of today. When a job gets tough, just quit!

When you’re incompetent in your job and your performance is costing people potential earnings and you are damaging an institution’s legacy and value beyond repair it should not be the choice to continue to cause damage. Thanks for the virtue signal but you can shove it up your ***

I'm not really mad about this loss.

This was the OLD MIAMI beating the new miami.

Butch Davis beating Manny Diaz.

The Orange Bowl beating Sun Life Stadium.

One team had passion and drive, the other team wanted to dance on the sidelines.

These people wearing the U on the side of their helmets today are pretenders. They're not Hurricanes.

So...

On the 4th and 1 where Mike Harley was not covered, Manny said "they were mis-aligned, that's why they stopped us." Is that really true or did they know exactly what we were doing. I thought @Roman Marciante covered this
This is a crock of ****, so what he was misaligned. He was WIDE open, read the field, stop playing blind. But playing blind is how we got 3 interceptions.....to FIU.

You are so correct..fiu played like how those early miami teams did. **** your 4 and5 stars. They have more dogs than us

Manny on my hot seat for sure but he was speaking facts about the program and it HAS been like that since Coker really, taste any type of success and just get overconfident and you see what happens. This literally happens every year, he spoke facts on that. Changes still got to be made regardless 🤷🏾‍♂️

I hope he can make them, but I'm not sure about if he can do said so changes he speaks of.
