Malik Rosier has strong lead over N'Kosi Perry for UM starting QB spot

If Rosier starts we're going 8-4 or 9-3. You can't expect the defense to force 30 turnovers again and being lucky or clutch isn't a trait you can develop as a team. We were very fortunate to win 10 games last year no matter how you spice it. We were lucky to beat FSU, UNC, GT, Cuse, and Virginia as all those games were close till late and NONE of them were even good.

And what will our record be with a QB that can't even beat Rosier out?

Depends. Can he actually hit a moving target consistently? If so we'd likely go 9-3 with a better chance of going 10-2 or even 11-1 with a couple of good bounces then we would with Rosier. Who is to even say JW or NP are worse then Rosier in a real game situation? Sam Darnold sat behind a scrub and Baker Mayfield didn't win the starting job at Texas Tech and look at how they turned out. I rather go with potential because we saw Rosier at his best and if that's his the best I don't want to see Rosier at his worse or even at an average state. Rosier did not improve at all during the season and he is like 23 years old.. he is what he is. Last year we choose to go the veteran route in hopes that maybe the veteran had hidden potential and as we saw he didn't. It time to go with guys who actually came in with a high ceiling and talent level because it will set us up for a legitimate run in the future instead of being in this same exact position next year.
