Malik Rosier had a great game today

I'm with OP, Rosier made some great plays so that the Big Mo didn't switch for very long. 57% today, droped some dimes and didn't turn the ball over.

OK, even the guy I get on most: Feagle had a pretty **** good game. Both guys had those games week 1 and we're undefeated.

I also like that LSU went and beat Auburn in their house. They is a pretty darn good team that we lost to. Like they say, if you have to lose, lose early.

Grammar you dumb ****. And I only brought it up because you tried to discredit a great poster.
I sORY BoSs..
Ain’t discredit nobody. Just pointed out the fact that you can’t say you don’t like someone and your bias then go on and try to make objective points..you discredit yourself..some of y’all hate for 12 doesn’t allow you to be objective at all..I blame the man bun

Criticism of Rosier's accuracy is fair - he still made some ****** throws today and probably missed open guys. But Jesus Christ give credit where its due:

1) On one of his TD runs he lowered his shoulder into TWO defenders and pushed them into the end zone from a yard out
2) He made at least 2 or 3 perfect throws that were difficult
3) Not claiming he went through his progressions or made the right reads on every play, but on several plays where you could clearly see where he was looking on TV - HE DID look off defenders and/or go to second or third read.

I preface this with the fact that I don't really give much weight to ESPN's Adjusted QBR, but Rosier graded out as 92.6 - his best performance as Cane.

His best games from 2017:
- ND: 89.3
- Duke: 87.8
- VT: 86.9
- UVA: 86.4
- Toledo: 84.4

Every other game is below 67 . . . some by a large margin. Anyways, food for thought. Happy to win today.

At one juncture in the 3rd quarter Rosier was 6-13, then he went on a hot streak to finish 7-10.

Rosier played a good game today. It was not great by the standard of measurement for The U being back. You can't have the level of incosistency he posseses, especially considering the quality of the opponent.

He made better reads today from the RPO which was a nice thing, he missed some guys, dropped some dimes. He needs to be better as a passer and understand his personnel better, but we got the W and he made it happen on the ground.

The LBers?!?! Now that's a different story. I remember one point in their freshmen season I was thinking Shaq and Mike were gonna be absolute monsters. But they've regressed so far this season.

He ******* sucks. Watch the game not the stats

Even his completions were bad throws.

JT TD was behind him

Cager is 6’5” but Rosier throws that TD at 5’7”

He’s ******* awful

52% w our WRs?

And he made ONE good read in read-option.

Notice how many times he handed the ball to homer to run into a wall as DEs collapsed in?

He isn’t good. He guesses in read option and chooses his WR before the play.

I think he threw to a second option once...for a completion

The throw behind Mallory last second after he’d run wide open from the other hash? Holy ****

EDIT. and Hightower’s circus catch should’ve been a TD too. What kind of trash throw was that?

Remember that completion percentage doesn't account for accurate passes that were dropped. I remember one in particular hitting Mallory in the chest. Rosier had a good game, everyone should be happy about it and hope he has more. I don't get why we have players that do well and people still wanna take a dump on them

For rosier to be serviceable we have to run the ball well. Is ceiling for completion percentage is about 55%. He won't do better than that. When we play teams that can stop the run we'll be in trouble.
Well let’s give him some room here, as we played Alabama today! Oh wait, no... it was Toledo.

He played I think exactly how we thought he would. Sub 60 percent, did effectively push the ball down field a few times for splash plays. Was bolstered by a strong running game, made some splash plays running the ball himself and took what seemed like forever to get the offense going just in time to double Toledo's point total Midway through the 4th.

Personally I thought Richt let off the gas a little early with the running game. DJ was explosive early, and Homer largely kept them on schedule for down and distance purposes. Had Miami stuck with their running game, the game could have gotten out of hand much sooner than it did.

It was thrown behind Mallory who was running open for twenty ******* yards before it was thrown behind him.

You people on here will never be satisfied until we beat a team by 200 points, never have a single negative play on offense or defense, have the greatest offensive or defensive strategy EVER devised, and if a quarterback makes a mistake, even the same ones you make in real life, he deserves to have his scholly revokes. Rosier was responsible for 55555555555555TTTTDDDS. Let that sink in. You folks are the reason why Miami fans have a bad rep. Quite frankly, ALL of you suck as fans and should be required to turn in your fan membership cards. It is beyond ridiculous to read the comments on this site. No wonder the BOT never gave consideration to your viewpoints when deciding on a coach. Who would give even a LITTLE credence to what you say after Miami wins on the road by 25 points? You are NOT fans. You are IDIOTS.

His LSU game is all you need to know about him.

I don't know why we are getting thumbs down. The slurpers have such a hard on for Malek and his trashbag performance.
