He has ability to play offense too. Played some RB and WR for Creek but I would prefer to keep him on defense. Sometimes you need to keep pure athletes on defense too.


He has the ability to impact the return game on special teams as well.

Great get, legitimate 4*. Disrespected by some sites for his size similar to how Cedrick Wright is.

We need a major upgrade there. Too risky to put Corn back returning given he's going to be our #1 corner.

Latrell Williams will have something to say about that KR/PR spot.

Big pickup. Fast, quick, aggressive in run support. He outperformed Mullen at Army practices and started the game.

The only negative is height (5'9.5) but his length and hand size checked out very well at the Army weigh-in. I see him as a slot corner and returner who can also play outside.

I knew we'd close like animals while this place was full of nervous lap dogs still thinking Folden was here.

This is the beginning of a Hurricanes avalanche. New HC with a proven track record with a pack of young crazed dogs doing leg work and refusing to take no for an answer. Kids have been looking for a reason to come to UM instead of sifting through the pile of reasons they shouldn't.

Compare this feeling and momentum to last year when recruits were openly clowning UM and we were left stealing guys from FIU and FAU on signing day.

You definitely have not seen Cook play. The main knock on him has been not performing like a big time talent when the lights come on. He is a physical specimen that has yet to perform up to his ability.

I haven't seen Becker live, but his film is not more impressive than Malek's.

Byrd is by far the best when the lights come on out of all of the above mentioned and the best athlete, in my opinion. Definitely the fastest out of all of them.

This is shaping up to be a excellent DB class. Maybe add one more safety? This is how it should be in Miami with all of the speed at DB. Golden didn't do a horrible job at the DB positions - but there was definately room for improvement.
