Man, a lot of good things are being said about this kid and I like it. What are your thoughts on my questions below?

Touches per game
Total yards for the season

I think
Touches per game--5-7
Total yards for the season--500+

Freshman,.. eye opening/ head turning play, Freshman. Speed, good route running, Freshman. Has the tangibles to excel. freshman.. starting against ND. A gd freshman… post game.. God Dang freshman did that??..Let’s hope all the freshman and youngsters play to exceed their reach. Go Boys🙌🏽

I think he will be our top producing receiver this year. That’s how I highly I think of the young man.

I am a suspicious person by nature. When the talking points are all the same (Jojo), then they all simultaneously shift to the same new talking point (Toney), it makes me question the true source of the info. Which then makes me question the motivation to put out that info.

That said, I saw Toney live many times and the leap he made mentally and physically from 2023 to 2024 was significant. If he continues that trajectory he could be great. A TF leading the team in receptions is a big ask, though.

Idk about leading the team in RECS but Toney is the real deal
 
Would dig a Jeremy Shockey type surprise as well. McConnathy? Scroggins? One of the freshperson TEs?

I deserve it.

If he ends up starting in the slot. Which is a fairly big if, he could lead the team in receptions. If he splits snaps in the slot, which is believe is the most likely scenario, we’re looking at 30-40 receptions. Maybe 4-500 yards?
