Malachi Toney [is not hurt]

I’ve e watched enough Shannon Dawson offense to know that whoever is getting reps in the slot is going to eat. I’m hesitant to go all in on Toney right now because freshman receivers haven’t played a ton under this staff. If he gets the starting slot position, he will lead the team in receptions.

You should know by now that new new players surpass returning players as the best every year. Bain and Mauigoa are already JAGs, Lofton quickly on his way.
Bain and Mauigoa have actually accomplished something on the field at Miami...at least there is that.

😳

I don’t know if that would be a good thing or bad thing for this team if that happens. That would mean he is elite or JoJo, CJ and others are average and Beck has to throw to the slot a lot this year.
It’s no different than Ryan Williams, T.J. Moore, Zachariah Branch, or even Amari Cooper. Freshman wide receiver excel every season, that doesn’t mean the rest of the receivers are trash, some guys just have it.

100%, from what I’ve seen, Tony is the best wide receiver on the team. He’s that good and everybody’s gonna get to see it this year. We hit a home run in this kid.

Big fan of Toney’s potential of course. Probably a 5 star ish player if he stayed in his class

Also understand that the slot position will get a lot of action in this offense

Restrepo was probably one of if not the toughest dude on the team. His S&C was on another planet and he took an unbelievable beating last year

Sometimes I think people play too much NCAA on the PS5 but here’s to hoping a high school kid is just that far advanced physically
lmao don't mind this at all -- baby jesus is him - different universe. love X but sorry we eating day 1

With Lofton and Daniels ahead in development it will be difficult for him to lead the team in receiving this year. I also think Beck will spread the ball around alot. Moore will get his share as well. I just want to see the whole offense flourish.
