Major Applewhite not expected to get OC Job

My bad to HarryCaray dude for being an ***. Should have followed the age old CIS rule: if there is a random insider claiming good news then don’t believe him but if it’s bad news it’s for sure true.

I'd say your giving way too much credit to Diaz, it isn't like whoever will come in is being heavily pursued and your fooling someone else by saying your hiring Applewhite

People forget that Golden accepted the job on December 13th and Fisch was his last hire on Jainuy 13th.

Dead period ends on the 10th and the championship game is on the 7th. I wouldn't expect anything to come until that time. If it is Jeff Scott, he probably already notified Dabo and he and Manny are working the offensive staff right now to get ready the end of the dead period.

Most of these guys are from the college ranks anyways, so they can be announced the eve of the of the period and get ready to hit it when the clock strikes midnight. It's just a matter of changing targets and logistics for them.

I'm more interested in knowing who the OL coach is. You can scheme all you want, but it wouldn't matter we can't control the LOS on offense.

Where did I say he had to be a Cane? I've been arguing in favor of having an uptempo Spread offense since 2017 I've never once suggested the OC has to be Cane. In fact every candidate that I've listed on this site none of them were former Canes.

Honestly its been a long time since we hit a home run is hiring or recruiting. I expect the worse.

Disagree. If we get someone worse it will be because of money and a clear indication that we’re not committed to winning

Honestly... I get taking time and getting it right but with all this shifting from Fedora to Applewhite to whomever... I worry we don’t have a real plan. If Manny passes over Applewhite to keep looking, he better have someone good. Cause if Applewhite already interviewed and Manny is still kicking tires and sniffing butts... I’d walk if I were Major.
