MAC cancels Fall Football

Right again. Players safety yada yada yada. Who actually believed that shlt? It’s because they’re going to be in the red by playing.

For a 2020 season with no P5 money coming in, and shltty MAC TV deals: Expenses incurred playing >>> revenue. ...it’s that simple

Canceling sports makes zero sense because these kids aren't going to quarantine if there's no sports. They might catch it being part of the football team, and they might just as easily catch it being part of youthful society, which includes hanging out and farnicating and constantly looking for people with whom to farnicate.

But if the P5s go ahead with this season all **** is going to break loose. You will see tremendous blowback from many in the media, and from the black community. Just watch.

I’m trying to save you all from your ignorant selves.

You cannot play this season under these circumstances (e.g., no bubble, no uniform testing, no enforcement, no standard operating procedures, schools are left to their own devices for creating protocols, every other conference canceled there seasons)

Let me posit another theory about why you post like this, rather than your self-enchanted view of your imagined magnanimity.

You get off on negativity and misery. Is it possible there’s no season? Of course there is. It is it also possible that they somehow slog their way through this, and there’s a different picture and a different situation in the fall? Yes that’s possible.

You just want probability to be certainty so that you can rub peoples faces in this misery

They’re meeting today to discuss canceling and ncaa will make a decision on August 21 regarding fall sports. Not sure what the ncaa is gonna do but it seems like p5s are taking it in their own hands

The NCAA doesn't control the P5. That's why the P5 is taking it into their own hands.
 
The naivety of some of these positions is pretty mind blowing.

The P5 is already running one step ahead of the bullet after March madness being cancelled. I’d there is no football college football as a whole will be bankrupted.

They have to and will play.

“Some” of you guys are so overly emotional that it’s blinding you and not allowing you to think rationally.

Just look at what’s right in front of you. There is no possible way you can have a college football season with everything in play. Not possible

And yeah, I get it. Many of you white guys getting ****ed when any mention of race is brought up, because you guys either uncomfortable talking about it or have conditioned yourselves to not see it, especially if it’s gonna stand in the way of getting what you want, but sorry. Get over it! Race (and the optics of playing for $$$) are variables here)

So Cuomo and deBlasio both said children should be going to school in the fall where they will spend hours sitting in an indoor classroom, but college football players can't spend 3 hours having occasional contact with someone outside.

What level of soft is it when kindergartners are less afraid than you are?
