Except he actually gave a timeline of his return, which is end of the year.
It's not "end of the year", and it won't be "end of the year" (unless there is a setback).
Joe Rose asked "do you expect him back, maybe, late in the season?" To which Mario gave some sort of a vague response about "that's the goal" and "you'd like for that to happen" and "that's what we're targeting". He also said "we'll have to wait and see, man".
Mario Cristobal Himself never "actually gave a timeline of his return", and his comment was certainly not "end of the year".
I continue to hear "October" and the Pitt game would be the 7th game of the year. Which would officially be "late in the season", as it would be the second half of the season.
But, yeah, let's continue to freak the **** out over non-specific comments that Joe Rose made (not Mario Cristobal Himself) and get everyone worked up.
Again, of all the people on this board,
@Brooklyndee is going to have far more intel on the injury, and how that injury impacts a defensive back, than just about anyone else possible. So I'm not going to argue with
@Brooklyndee over Joe Rose's word choice.
