With LSU having issues such as new coach, game losses and perhaps
money issues is there any chance some LSU recruits might flip?Or
recruits like Patrick Surtain might looking more favorable to the U.

It’s more likely Pat Surtain takes a harder look at us. His top 2 schools are FSU and LSU and he’s said it numerous of times and both are having horrible seasons. They only have one kid from Florida committed and he’s a TE from Ponte Vedra Beach and the class doesn’t have any kid of high tier recruit or blue chipper that we should leave the state to get.

lol at money issues. There are no money issues at LSU. YEah, they may lose a couple recruits this year and if Oregano gets fired, they might lose 1-2 but they'll do what all top programs do - fire him and make a hire splash and attach recruiting with excitement and promise of championships and that will keep most recruits in the fold. Plus, their bag game is still great.

Lsu's money problems are significant. Major improvements to stadium, attendance down, Miles's buyout, etc. LSU is keeping Oregano because they have to. And they like him. He'll get a chance to fix LSU.

Coach o has a 12 million buyout. How much money do you think these rednecks have?

You haven’t been paying attention if you don’t think they don’t have money. Their booster program is as good as it gets. The state might have issues but there is no shortage of money at LSU.

It's extremely rare for coaches to get fired after their first season with the team. If he doesn't continue to win, he'll be fired after the 2019 season.

LSU's paying Les Myles' buyout and are not going to eat up another $12 million buyout while also paying another high dollar-figure head coach. On top of that, it seems like top quality coaches are avoiding the SEC West given that Saban basically runs that division. There's having money. There's also being smart with your money. They'll likely wait until next year to fire Orgeron.

Its not happening. They still owe miles 9 million. Thats 21 million total owed. Urban meyer makes 4 million a year for refernce. They owe more money to fired coaches then meyer will make in 5 years.

$21 million is obviously a lot, but if LSU continues to crap the bed, I can't see LSU keeping coach O.

"Urban Meyer has received a contract extension through the 2020 season after a year in which he coached Ohio State to the national championship. His previous contract ran through the 2017 season and would have paid him $4.9 million for 2015. The new terms and extension give Meyer a six-year deal. He will make $5.8 million in total compensation for 2015. His contract will average at least $6.5 million a year over the next six years." He makes a little more than $4 million. He seems to get at least $6.5 mill.

Keep Coach O cause we gone destroy them bayou mfs next year and Surtain can either come here and contribute to this beating we give them or he can go there and see AR82.

Seen the price of oil and natural gas lately? It's moving up, but it's still too low for the neuvo riche to fork it over to an LSU 3rd head coach salary.

At this stage, it doesn't matter who LSU hires as the turnaround for LSU before our matchup in 2018. It's too late to do a complete turnaround like they need.

Alabama will benefit the most from LSU being down.

But back in our day, we did get the occasional recruit out of Louisiana.
