Losing to FSU was just unacceptable and unfathomable

Kept an eye on them, they couldn't get it together to beat a Florida team that couldn't have given less of a sh*t. They actually cared to show up for like 2 or 3 games all season, we were one, and we couldn't match that fleeting intensity.

Nah he was toast before then but that was the cherry on top.
I'm not so sure. Ending the season on a 6-7 game winning streak is a pretty big deal. Having that ugly FSU loss in there when you thought you had turned the corner just draws more attention to the close calls and other losses. Had we beaten FSU 28-20, and finished with a bowl win, I bet he stays. No one would be able to deny we looked like a better team after TVD got rolling. Problem is, that FSU loss showed the world exactly where our weakest link is. It's at head coach. That was a massive loss for a team that was turning the corner.

No that loss would be FIU
Have to agree. Even though Manny lost to his share of Community Colleges and directional schools during his tenure, losing to BBB‘s team who spent half the night acting like tin ducks getting shot at a carnival gallery has to be tops. A corching masterclass. FSU was a corching clusterf*ck, but at least they had one guy that will play on Sundays.
