what schedule yall looking at? nebraska is not a bad team. they got a pretty good rb and wr and they got some players on defense. wouldnt be shocked if we take that L. fsu is better than us. unc got some talent on both sides of the ball.
we should beat vt. they are waiting on a 3rd string qb from texas tech to come in this summer and be the starter and they lost a lot on defense but have a great secondary.
louisville even without teddy they still got most of that team back from last year.
i see 9-3 maybe 10-2 but with a lot of luck maybe 11-1.
Ignoring us and looking at just the opposing teams:
Louisville lost a lot of good talent on their defense in Calvin Pryor (S, First Round Pick), Marcus Smith (DE, First Round Pick and 2 sacks against us) and Preston Brown (ILB, 3rd Round Pick/Leading Tackler). In addition, they lost Hakeem Smith (S, All-American Conf Team) and Brandon Dunn (DT). On offense, they lost their best player in Bridgewater. He was elite and a first round pick. Other notables include Damian Copeland (WR, 58 for 780 Yards and 5 TDs) and Senorise Perry (RB, 677 Rushing Yards and 6 TDs).
They did return some key players on offense in DeVante Parker (WR), Dominique Brown (RB) and Gerald Christian (TE) but who will deliver the ball to them? They will likely have an open QB competition this summer as they just brought in JUCO QB Patrick Thomas. As for defense, they have Lorenzo Mauldin (DE) but how good will he be without Marcus Smith and a new HC/DC?
We all know about the coaching staff, it is completely new. Who knows how quickly it will take till they're running at maximum ability?
UNC lost their best players on offense in Ebron (TE, 1st Rd Pick), Bodine (OL, 4th Rd Pick), Hurst (OL) and Renner (QB) and some other notables on defense in Tre Boston (S, 4th Rd Pick), Tim Jackson (DT), Kareem Martin (DE, 3rd Rd Pick) and Jabari Price (CB, 7th Rd Pick) on defense.
VT lost some good talent on defense in JR Collins (DE), Antonie Exum (CB, 6th Rd Pick), Kyle Fuller (CB,1st Rd Pick), James Gayle (DE), Derrick Hopkins (DT), Tariq Edwards (LB) and Jack Tyler (ILB). One other player is Andrew Miller (OL, 34 Total Starts). They also lost a player that JUST HURT US in Logan Thomas (QB, 4th Rd Pick).
They still have Bud Foster, so they will bring it on defense. Returning Kendall Fuller, Luther Maddy and Brandon Facyson helps. As for offense, who knows? They will probably be crappier than last year even though their WRs (3 of them with over 600 yards receiving).
Nebraska has one of the best RBs in the nation but they lost a ton of OL in Spencer Long (3rd Rd Pick), Andy Rodriguez, Brent Qvale and Jeremiah Sirles (they had 113 starts between them). They also lost Quincy Enunwa (WR) who was their leading WR (51 for 753 and 12 TD). On defense they lost some quality players Jason Ankrah (DE), Thad Randle (DT), Ciante Evans (CB, First-Team All-Big Ten), Drew Green (CB/S) and Stan Jean-Baptiste (CB, 2nd Rd Pick).
