Long term ACC opponents released

I would have taken VT or Pitt over UL any day of the week. Still, I kind of like rekindling the BC rivalry. Glad we don’t play Duke, UNC, UVA and GT every flipping year.

Maybe making VT and Pitt more special will improve home game attendance? I can dream, can’t I?

Wish we would’ve kept VT over Loserville but I like the format. Creates more personal matchups throughout the conference, now playing teams at least once every other year as opposed to once every 7 years.

The reason you feel indifference toward BC and UL is because we hardly play them. That will no longer be the case, we will play all the teams more.

I don't like giving UL more access to SF exposure...Vice versa, the Virginia area is good recruiting grounds while Kentucky doesn't provide much for us. Don't mind BC, but on and off the field, would much rather have VT than UL.

There was no way you could please everyone with this setup; however, I think we’ll all learn to like these changes in the near future.

It was dumb that you had to wait 6 years to play teams in your own conference and up to 12 years before you played them at home.

It also looks like they are going to shuffle the common opponents every 4 years.

who actually wanted this? the commissioner? ADs?

nothing about this makes the conference schedule more exciting IMO
Disagree. We won’t go 7 years without playing Clemson, Louisville or other teams from the Atlantic.

I am a little confused about Louisville as one of our primaries instead of VT or Pitt but the bigger problem is the ACC is a conference of random teams with no great old rivalries (for the teams that joined post 2004) so this is what you get.

Should have swapped lville for vtech and give them wake on vtech schedule that’d be an easy fix, otherwise I’m excited for this type of schedule, we should be in the title game most years. 25 and 26 and cake schedules unless a few of those teams pop, better be in the playoff by then!
