I hope they treat special ed students better than they did when I was in HS, a few centuries ago. They used to make them stand at the window where you turned in your lunch tray and dirty dishes, and the kids would work there scraping the excess food off the plates so they could be washed. I guess they thought this was a positive integration into the educational system and community for them. I wonder if they really taught them anything in their classes. Of course, this was a long time ago, mid-60's.
