6'1 185lbs 4-star CB out of Houston TX, goes to 6A school Clear Lake (same school as 2021 DB Mark Wilson).

Is A'mir Sears a Day One starter next season? More than likely he and donte wright are or at least heavily in our rotation. I think we might go db in tp due to the guys we will likely lose.

INT's are mostly happenstance. A guy can rack up picks & still not necessarily be a good Corner in coverage. It's mostly just being in the right place at the right time.

Ball skills are a great thing to have, but the thought that if a CB doesn't have a bunch of INT's that they aren't good is a complete misnomer.

We could play more Press Man, but that requires Press Man corners & as of right now, we only have O'Connor who can consistently play Man. The LAST thing any Miami fan should want is for Damari to being playing a bulk of his coverage snaps in Man.

We need OJ, Ja'Boree & Lucas back for those assignments.

That’s why I never saw Cj Henderson being a first round corner. He was in the right place right time for several of his interceptions.

I hope not.

Sears is more ATH than strictly CB right now. I think he may even be best at Safety in college.

But a lot will depend on if OJ returns.

Sears at safety all day. Rotate with Fitz next season in that Poyser position (if Poyser declares)
