I don't know the outcome of this play but it was a great photo of some young on the rise canes. I got my money on Steed if Lo tried to take it up field!!!

Yes, I can't wait to get a chance to see both in the Spring game. The biggest thing for a running back when getting acclimated to college ball is patience and trusting their speed. If you are very quick, it allots you more time to be patient. When it's there the quickness will get you to the whole in enough time to make a play. That is the big difference in what I seen in Mark Walton as a freshman/sophomore to his junior year. His junior year Walton was very patient behind the LOS and it paid off. He was going to have a very big junior season!!!

absolutely.....was on pace for an All-Conference type year. Wishing him nothing but a long, successful NFL career!

I was looking at the photo....what really caught my attention..is the size of hole the line gave Lo to run through!! That's what this pics really about!!
And it was a great pic!!
Yes the hole does look pretty big. Maybe be Mccray was a little to aggressive with his contain and came to far up field. DT looks like he is getting blocked pretty good, but its 1-on-1 now with the RB and LB so may the best man win. The winner of those two will be the difference between a big play for the defense or offense imo.

I don’t know, Lo is going to be a great one, but in that picture Steed looks coiled and in great position to deliver a solid hit.

He looks like really strong through the core and lower body and you can deliver a lot of force when you’re wound like that.
One of the advantages of being a shorter LB. Lower center of gravity, plus Lo looks like he is off balance and not ready to make contact. I have to see if I can get the footage and let you guys know the outcome.

You can never tell, because that’s literally just a split nanosecond in time, it just doesn’t look like Lo can get to his left fast enough because he looks so moreoff balance, almost reaching from 45 degrees to parallel to the ground, look at Lo’s left leg position, whereas Steed is in better position to at least stop his progress, if not downright lay a hit.

It’s a great football picture, though, isn’t it? Here’s a larger version

Garvin was by far my favorite recruit last year way before anyone here talked about him due to his college film. My second favorite was Steed. He just looked like a guy who naturally knew how to hit and instinctively knew where to go on most of his film.
I hope he stays healthy and shows what he can do.

Honestly I felt the same way when I saw Garvin in person. My third sleeper was Gaynor.
